Acting for the Division I Management Council, the Academics/Eligibility/Compliance Cabinet Subcommittee on Legislative Review/Interpretations issued the following interpretation:

Coaching Limitations/Volunteer Coach/Compensation

Volunteer Coach Receiving Compensation to Work at an Institutional Camp or Clinic. It is permissible for a volunteer coach to receive compensation for employment at an institution's sports camp or clinic.
