Dates and site:
National qualifying will be at Ohio State April 5, and the national championships will follow April 6-7.Field:
A national qualifier will consist of the top nine teams; conference champions from the Eastern College Athletic Conference, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation and the Big Ten Conference; the top 12 all-around competitors who are not members of a selected team; and 12 individuals per event. The top three teams, all-around competitors not on a team selected and three individual event competitors will advance to the national championships.Selection date:

Regional championships will be April 7 at UCLA (West region), Utah (North Central region), Nebraska (South Central region), Alabama (Central region), Michigan (Northeast region) and Florida (Southeast region). The finals will be at Georgia April 19-21.Field:
Six regional competitions consisting of six teams, five all-around competitors and one individual specialist per event are conducted to determine the 12 teams, 12 all-around competitors and event specialists to compete in the national championships. The top two teams and top two all-around competitors (who are not on an advancing team) will receive automatic berths. Any event winner with at least a 9.8 who does not receive an automatic bid will advance.Selection date:
