Regional play will be May 17-20 at campus locations, and the Women's College World Series will be May 24-28 at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.Field:

The championship field is 32 teams. Four teams will participate at each of eight regional sites in a double-elimination format. Regional winners will advance to an eight-team, double-elimination final.Selection date:

The championship has a field of 40 teams. Five teams will compete at each of eight regional sites in a double-elimination format. Winners of the regionals will advance to an eight-team, double-elimination final.Selection date:

Alma, Central (Iowa), Endicott, St. Mary's (Minnesota), Salisbury State, William Paterson.Players to watch:
Leslie Prochaska, Chapman; Jill Hocking and Jackie Huegel, St. Mary's (Minnesota); April Harned, Salisbury State; Diane Naugle, William Paterson.Chapman will be trying to break its string of second-place finishes in the Division III championship. Since winning their first title in 1995, the Panthers have placed second four times, including the last three years.
