New Paltz State grad wins award

Jessica Nadolny, a recent graduate of State University College at New Paltz, has been selected as the winner of the New York Athletic Conference's prestigious Dr. Dolores Bogard Award, which is given to a female student-athlete in the conference who demonstrates the best combination of academic and athletics ability. Nadolny was a three-year starter and team captain for the Hawks' women's soccer squad, where she earned all-conference honors three years. Nadolny was a leader in the classroom as well, earning dean's list honors and numerous academic awards, including the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Academic Excellence. An elementary education major, Nadolny now teaches biology and serves as New Paltz State's assistant men's and women's tennis coach.
