Members of the intercollegiate athletics 'family' who died in the September 11 attacks

Don Adams, former football student-athlete at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, 1991-1994, was employed by Cantor Fitzgerald in the World Trade Center.

Mark Bavis, former ice hockey student-athlete at Boston University who helped lead the Terriers to the Division I Frozen Four four times, including the 1991 championship game, was an amateur scout for the Los Angeles Kings and a passenger on United Airlines Flight 175, the second plane that crashed into the World Trade Center.

Todd Beamer, former baseball student-athlete at Wheaton College (Illinois) was a passenger on United Airlines Flight 93 that crashed in western Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife Lisa, who is expecting another child in January, and their two sons: David, 3, and Drew, 1.

Mark Bingham, member of 1991 and 1993 national collegiate rugby championship teams at the University of California, Berkeley, was a passenger on United Airlines Flight 93 that crashed in western Pennsylvania.

Nick Brandemarti, former football student-athlete at Fordham University, class of 2001, was an employee of Keefe, Bruyette and Woods in Tower Two of the World Trade Center.

Thomas Edward Burnett Jr., former football quarterback at St. John's University (Minnesota), 1981-82, was a passenger on United Airlines Flight 93 that crashed in western Pennsylvania.

Lisa Egan, former basketball student-athlete at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, was employed by Cantor Fitzgerald in the World Trade Center.

Bradley James Fetchet, former lacrosse student-athlete at Bucknell University, class of 1999, was employed by Keefe, Bruyette and Woods in the World Trade Center. His younger brother Wesley is a current lacrosse student-athlete at Bucknell.

Tim Finnerty, former basketball student-athlete at the University of Scranton and a member of the 1988 Division III runner-up Scranton team, was employed by Cantor Fitzgerald on the 105th floor of Tower One in the World Trade Center.

Jimmy Geyer, former football student-athlete at Western New England College, 1978-82, was employed by Cantor Fitzgerald in the World Trade Center.

Julie Geis, former softball student-athlete at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, 1976-1979, was employed by Kansas City, Missouri-based Aon Consulting and was in New York for a business meeting on the 105th floor in the south tower of the World Trade Center.

Jeremy Glick, a 1993 collegiate judo champion for the University of Rochester, was a passenger on United Airlines Flight 93 that crashed in western Pennsylvania.

Chris Gray, former football student-athlete at West Virginia University, 1987-91, was employed by Cantor Fitzgerald in the World Trade Center.

Mike Horrocks, former football quarterback at West Chester University, 1983-84, was the pilot of United Airlines Flight 175, the second plane that crashed into the World Trade Center. Horrocks is survived by his wife Miriam and two children, Christa and Michael.

Ted Luckett, former soccer student-athlete at Ohio Wesleyan University, 1980-1982, was employed by Cantor Fitzgerald in the World Trade Center. He is survived by his wife Lisa and three children: Jennifer, age 7; Billy, age 4; and Timmy, four months.

Christian Maltby, former swimming and water polo student-athlete at Fordham University, class of 1986, was employed by Cantor Fitzgerald in Tower One of the World Trade Center.

Eamon McEneaney, former all-American lacrosse player and football student-athlete at Cornell University, 1974-77, was employed by Cantor Fitzgerald in the World Trade Center.

Mark Ryan McGinly, former golf student-athlete at Bucknell University, class of 1997, was employed by Carr Futures in the World Trade Center. His brother, Drew, is on active duty in the United States Navy.

Mike Pelletier, former ice hockey student-athlete at St. Lawrence University and a member of the 1988 NCAA Division I runner-up team, was employed by Cantor Fitzgerald in the World Trade Center.

Jimmy Quinn, former basketball manager at Manhattan College, 1995-97, was employed by Cantor Fitzgerald in the World Trade Center.

Larry Senko, former football student-athlete at St. Francis College (Pennsylvania), class of 1989, was vice-president for Alliance Consulting on the 102nd floor of the north tower of the World Trade Center. Senko, who lived in Yardley, Pennsylvania, and commuted to New York every day, is survived by his wife Debbi and son Tyler, 18 months.

Bonnie Jean Shihadeh Smithwick, former varsity cheerleader at Bucknell University, class of 1968, was employed by the Fred Alger Management Company in the World Trade Center. She is survived by her husband, T. James Smithwick and their two children: James, 20, and Katherine, 15.

Mari-Rae Sopper, former gymnastics student-athlete and team captain at Iowa State University, 1984-88, and just hired as coach of the University of California, Santa Barbara, women's gymnastics team, was a passenger on American Airlines Flight 77, which crashed into the Pentagon.

Rich Stewart, former ice hockey student-athlete at St. Lawrence University and a member of the 1988 NCAA Division I runner-up team, was employed by Cantor Fitzgerald in the World Trade Center.

Kevin Szocik, former football student-athlete at Fordham University, class of 1997, was employed by Keefe, Bruyette and Woods in the World Trade Center.

Dan Trant, former basketball student-athlete at Clark University (Massachusetts), was a two-time all-American and captain of 1983-84 team that was the 1984 Division III runner-up. He was employed by Cantor Fitzgerald in the World Trade Center. He is survived by his wife Cathy and three children: Jessica, Daniel and Alexander.

Tyler Ugolyn, former basketball student-athlete at Columbia University, 1997-99, was employed by Fred Alger Management on the 93rd floor of Tower One of the World Trade Center.

Michael Weinberg, former baseball student-athlete at St. John's University (New York) 1986-89, was a New York City firefighter who died at the scene of the World Trade Center.

Robert Zampieri, former football student-athlete at Saint Francis College (Pennsylvania), class of 1994, was employed by Carr Futures on the 92nd floor of the north tower of the World Trade Center.
