Rosie Stallman, former director of athletics at Eastern New Mexico State University, has been named director of education outreach at the NCAA.
Stallman replaces Jane Meyer, who became the associate director of athletics at the University of Iowa in April.
As director of education outreach, Stallman will oversee programming related to student-athlete welfare, including the NCAA Foundation Leadership Conference, which celebrates its five-year anniversary this year.

Stallman has served as athletics director at Eastern New Mexico for the past four years. She oversaw a Division II athletics program that sponsors nine sports, four for men and five for women. Before taking the Eastern New Mexico post, Stallman was at Texas Wesleyan University, where she served as the director of athletics since 1994.
Stallman also was the head women's volleyball coach and director of the sport management program at Texas Wesleyan since 1992.
Before that, Stallman was the head women's volleyball and softball coach at Minnesota State
University-Mankato from 1982 through 1985. She also has coached volleyball at the high-school level.
Stallman earned her bachelor's degree and master's degree from St. Cloud State University in 1974 and 1981, respectively.
