Field: The championships will consist of both team and individual competition conducted concurrently. All participants will compete throughout the entire 72 holes of competition. In the team competition, the lowest four scores for each team will count in each day's total score. Sixty-three participants will compete at the finals.
Dates and sites: The championships finals will be May 16-19 at the Prairie Vista Golf Course in Bloomington, Illinois. Illinois Wesleyan will serve as host.

Championships notes: After winning three of the four Division II/III Women's Golf Championships, Methodist will look to defend its throne in a first Division III Women's Golf Championships. The Monarchs returned nine of 12 players from the 1999 squad, but they lost their top three scorers from last year's title run. Concordia-Moorhead ranks second in the polls as of early April, and it returns three of its top five scorers from last year's sixth-place finish at the championship, which was third among Division III schools.
