Additional nominations solicited

The deadline for submission of completed nomination materials for the following vacancy is May 19, 2000.

Football Rules Committee: One Division III vacancy. The appointee will replace Michael Maynard, University of Redlands, who is not eligible for reappointment. The appointee may not be from the New England Small Colleges Conference or the Southern California Conference.

Men's and Women's Skiing Committee: One Division I interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Janice Lange, University of Vermont, who is resigning from the committee as of September 1, 2000. It is preferred the appointee be either an Alpine coach from the Eastern region or a Nordic coach from the Western region. Nominees may be from either Division I-A, I-AA or I-AAA.

Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I nomination form and Division I nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L. Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Kevin White, University of Notre Dame, who has resigned from the committee. The nominee must represent men's track and field and preferably will be from the West (region 4).

Division I Women's Soccer Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Sue Montagne, formerly of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from Division I-A and preferably be from the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic regions.

Division II

Division II individuals may be nominated by peers. Self nominations also are accepted in Division II. A Division II nomination form and Division II nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L.
