The deadline for submission of completed nomination materials for the following vacancy is April 28, 2000.

Women's Ice Hockey Committee: Six vacancies for the newly established committee, pending Board of Directors approval in April. The committee will consist of three members from Division I (one representative from each subdivision), one member from Division II and two members from Division III.

Women's Water Polo Committee: Six vacancies for the newly established committee, pending Board of Directors approval in April. The committee shall consist of three members from Division I (one representative from each subdivision), one member from Division II, one member from Division III and one member shall be selected at large.

Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I nomination form and Division I nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L. Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

Newly announced vacancies

The deadline for submission of completed nomination materials for the following vacancies is May 12, 2000.

Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Kevin White, University of Notre Dame, who has resigned from the committee. The nominee must represent men's track and field and preferably will be from the West (region 4).

Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee: One September vacancy. The appointee will replace Michael Johnson, Boise State University, who is not eligible for reappointment. The appointee must represent men's track and field and be from region 4, district 6, 7 or 8.

Division I Women's Volleyball Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Judith Ray, University of New Hampshire, who has resigned from the committee, effective June 30. The appointee must be from Divisions I-AA or I-AAA and may be from any region.

Additional nominations solicited

The deadline for submission of completed nomination materials for the following vacancies is April 28, 2000.

Division I Women's Soccer Committee: One (immediate) vacancy. The appointee will replace Sue Montagne, formerly of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from Division I-A and may be from any region. The appointee may be an athletics administrator or a coach.

The deadline for submission of completed nomination materials for the following vacancies is May 5, 2000.

Division I Men's Ice Hockey Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Pat Richter, University of Wisconsin, Madison, who is not eligible for reappointment. The appointee must be from the West region and may be from Divisions I-A, I-AA or I-AAA.

Division I Men's Lacrosse Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Joseph Boylan, Loyola College (Maryland), who is not eligible for reappointment. The appointee must be from the South region and be an athletics administrator from Divisions I-A, I-AA or I-AAA.

Division II

Division II individuals may be nominated by peers. Self nominations also are accepted in Division II. A Division II nomination form and Division II nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L. Division II Baseball Committee: Two vacancies. The appointees will replace Danny Davis, University of North Carolina, Pembroke, and John Radovich, Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, who are not eligible for reappointment. One appointee must be from the South Atlantic region and one must be from the North Atlantic region. Nominees may be either coaches or athletics administrators.

Division II Men's Lacrosse Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Mike Cerino, Limestone College, who is not eligible for reappointment. The appointee preferably will be from region 3 and be a coach.

Division II Women's Soccer Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Linda Bauer, West Virginia Wesleyan College, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the Great Lakes region and may be either a coach or an athletics administrator.

Division II Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Diane Heydt, St. Cloud State University. The appointee must be an athletics administrator and represent men's swimming.
