Conferences: The Northeast-10 Conference has unveiled a new logo to coincide with a new marketing strategy. The logo is designed as a compass with the Roman numeral "X" prominently displayed in the middle of the logo, representing the 10 current member institutions. Those institutions are American International College, Assumption College, Bentley College, Bryant College, Le Moyne College, Merrimack College, Pace University, Saint Anselm College, Saint Michael's College and Stonehill College. From the Roman numeral is an arrow that is pointing to the northeast on the compass. "Our new logo exemplifies the many positive changes underway in the Northeast-10 Conference," said Commissioner David Brunk. "This will greatly enhance our marketing initiatives and provide us with a recognizable mark throughout the Northeast region."
Miscellaneous: Kavin Gailliard of American International set a one-season, all-divisions record for football rushing yardage this season when he ran for 2,653 yards. He broke the previous one-season record of 2,628, previously held by Barry Sanders of Oklahoma State University.
