Division III Men's Soccer

Field: A 44-team bracket will be selected. No predetermined berths will be allocated to regions for the 1999 championship.

Dates and sites: All games will be played at on-campus sites. First-round games will be played Wednesday, November 10. Each of the eight regions will host a four-team regional November 12-13 or 13-14. The winners will advance to the quarterfinals, which must be completed by Sunday, November 21. The semifinals and final will be held November 26-27 or 27-28.

Championship notes: Wheaton (Illinois) is leading the polls by opening with a 11-0-1 record, with the tie coming against Oswego State. St. Lawrence, St. Olaf and Emory are undefeated at 8-0, 9-0-1 and 7-0-1, respectively. Defending champion Ohio Wesleyan is off to a 7-1-1 start. The loss came against Otterbein, which Ohio Wesleyan eliminated last year in the regional finals.
