Division II Men's Soccer

Field: The bracket includes 16 teams from eight regions.

Dates and sites: Two teams will be selected from each of eight regions. Teams from the same region will be paired for first-round competition, which will be completed by November 14 on campus sites. Quarterfinals will be held on campus sites and completed by November 21. The semifinals and final will be played on the campus of a participating institution December 2 or 3 and 4 or 5.

Championship notes: Southern Connecticut State is looking to repeat as national champion and has started its season 9-0. Barry is looking to advance to the tournament again in 1999 to avenge a first-round loss to Lynn in last year's tournament. Lynn has opened its season with a 9-1-1 record, its only coming to Southern Connecticut State and the tie to Barry ... Other contenders include Southampton, which has begun the season 8-0-1.
