Division III Women's Soccer

Field: The championship provides for a 45-team, single-elimination tournament. The teams will be placed in eight competition brackets consisting of no more than six teams.

Dates and sites: Thirteen first-round games will be conducted on campus sites Wednesday, November 3. The winners will advance to regional competition along with the 19 teams that received a bye through the first-round competition. Each of the eight regions will host a four-team regional November 6-7. The eight regional winners will advance to the quarterfinals to be held on campus sites November 13 or 14. The semifinals and final will be played on a campus site November 20-21.

Championship notes: College of New Jersey, undefeated for the year, is looking for its ninth tournament appearance after losing in the championship game last year. Defending champion Macalester has suffered just one loss, that being to Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Ohio Wesleyan, which lost in double overtime in last year's regional championship to Washington (Missouri), has started this year with a 11-0 record and is shooting for its second championship berth in two years.
