Updated Recruiting Calendars for Divisions I and II Basketball
Divisions I and II institutions should note that the men's and women's basketball recruiting calendars have changed for spring 2000 as a result of the Collegiate Commissioners Association's decision to move the basketball National Letter of Intent initial spring signing date back one week from April 5, 2000, to April 12, 2000. The new late signing period is April 12, 2000, through May 15, 2000.
Because the recruiting calendars have changed for the those sports, the dates listed in the Divisions I and II men's and women's pocket recruiting guides and the NCAA Divisions I and II Manuals are incorrect. Accordingly, the following changes should be made to the guides and/or manuals. (Please note that the dates included below are applicable from this date forward and do not include dates that have already passed.)
