The deadline for submission of completed nomination forms for the following vacancy is November 24, 1999.

Men's and Women's Fencing Committee: Two vacancies. The appointees will replace William Shipman and Zoran Tulum, not eligible for reappointment. Both appointees must represent men's fencing. One appointee must be from the West region and one from the Northeast region. All divisions and subdivisions are eligible.

Division I

Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I nomination form and Division I nominee information form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L. Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).

The deadline for submission of completed nomination forms for the following vacancies is November 24, 1999.

Minority Opportunities and Interests Committee: One Division I vacancy. The appointee may be from any subdivision and may not be from the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Division I Initial-Eligibility Waivers Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Robert H. Aronson, University of Washington, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee will represent the transfer change/GPA subcommittee and may be from any subdivision. The appointee may not be from the Pacific-10 Conference.

Walter Byers Scholarship Committee: One interim Division I vacancy. The appointee will replace Judy Rose, University of North Carolina, Charlotte, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from Division I-AA.

The deadline for submission of completed nomination forms for the following vacancies is October 27, 1999.

Division I Men's Lacrosse Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Davis Roach, Brown University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the North region and may be from any subdivision.

Division I Women's Soccer Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Nora Lynn Finch, North Carolina State University, who has resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the Southeast region and be from Division I-A.

Division I Baseball Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Michael Knight, formerly of Nicholls State University. The appointee must be from either Division I-AA or I-AAA.

Division III

Division III individuals may be nominated by peers. Self nominations also are accepted in Division III. A Division III Nomination Form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori L. Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 317/917-6808).
