Safeguards committee issues statement for body piercing

The following is the official statement from the Committee on Competitive Safeguards and Medical Aspects of Sports meeting, which was held in June:

"Any jewelry or ornamentation that could cause an injury to the wearer or other participants should be prohibited from use in all practices and competitions."
