Skiing all-academic team selected
The University of Vermont placed nine student-athletes on the 1999 Skiing All-Academic team, which was compiled by the NCAA Men's and Women's Skiing Committee and announced at the sport's NCAA championships in March.
The University of Utah had eight student-athletes honored. Colby College had five.
To make the team, skiers must have had a minimum 3.500 grade-point average (4.000 scale) for the fall semester and competed in their regional championship.
