Committee notices
Division I
Division I candidates must be nominated by their institution's multisport conference. The Division I Nomination Form and Division I Nominee Information Form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 913/339-0035).
Previously listed vacancies
The deadline for submission of completed nomination forms for the following vacancies is June 28, 1999.
Division I Infractions Appeals Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Marilyn Yarbrough, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from Division I-AA or I-AAA.
Division I Men's and Women's Golf Committee: One interim vacancy on the men's subcommittee. The appointee must represent men's golf and must be from the Central region.
Division II
Division II individuals may be nominated by peers. Self nominations also are accepted in Division II. A Division II Nomination Form and Division II Nominee Information Form must be completed for each nominee. Nomination materials are to be sent to Lori Braa, committee coordinator, at the national office (fax 913/339-0035).

Division II Swimming and Diving Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Pete Oliszczak, formerly of the University of North Dakota, who resigned from the committee. The appointee must represent men's swimming and must be an athletics administrator.
Division II Men's Lacrosse Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Vincent Salamone, Long Island University/C. W. Post Campus, not eligible for reappointment. The appointee must be an athletics administrator.
Division II Wrestling Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace P.J. Smith, University of North Carolina, Pembroke, not eligible for reappointment. The appointee must be an athletics administrator.
Women's Rowing Committee: One Division II vacancy. The appointee will replace William K. Jurgens, Florida Institute of Technology, not eligible for reappointment.
Women's Gymnastics Committee: One Division II vacancy. The appointee will replace Pat Panichas, Southern Connecticut State University, not eligible for reappointment.
Division III

Women's Basketball Rules Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Robin Potera, formerly of Austin College. The appointee must be from Division III.
Division III Women's Softball Committee: One vacancy. The appointee will replace E. Jan Travis, St. Mary's College (Indiana), not eligible for reappointment. The appointee must be from the Central region and may not be from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Division III Men's Basketball Committee: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Gale Daugherty, Ohio Northern University, who is retiring. The appointee must be from the Great Lakes region and may not be from the Ohio Athletic Conference.
Division III Women's Lacrosse: One vacancy. The appointee will replace Janine M. Hathorn, Washington and Lee University, not eligible for reappointment. The appointee must be from the South Atlantic region and may not be from the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
Division III Men's Soccer: Two interim vacancies. The appointees will replace Jeffery Vennell, formerly of the University of Rochester, resigned from the committee, and Richard Whitmore, Colby College, resigned from the committee. One appointee must be from the Northeast region and one must be from the New England region. Neither appointee may be from the University Athletic or the New England Small College Athletic Conferences.
Division III Women's Soccer: One interim vacancy. The appointee will replace Phil Stephenson, Methodist College, resigned from the committee. The appointee must be from the South region and may not be from the Dixie Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Minority Opportunities and Interests Committee: One Division III vacancy. The appointee must be a female ethnic minority.
