Division III Men's Outdoor Track and Field

Field: The Division III Championships Committee has approved a qualifying procedure that allows for a maximum of 344 student-athletes.

Dates and site: May 20-22 at Baldwin-Wallace.

Results will be published in the June 7 issue of The NCAA News.

Championships notes: North Central claimed its third title, all since 1989, by totaling 91 points last year. The 91 points was the fourth-highest winning total in the championships' 25-year history ... Besides North Central, Wisconsin-La Crosse with four titles and Lincoln (Pennsylvania) with three are the only other schools to win the team crown since 1988 ... In the years since 1986 in which it has not placed first, Lincoln has been runner-up in all but one meet.
