Spring Championships Preview -- Division III Men's Golf

Field: A total of 120 participants from six districts will compete for the team and individual championships.

Dates and sites: Williams will host the championships May 17-20 at the Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Massachusetts.

Championships results will be published in the June 7 issue of The NCAA News.

Championships notes: Methodist continued its domination of the Division III championships, winning the school's eighth team title in nine years. The Monarchs won convincingly, defeating runner-up Otterbein by 36 strokes and third-place Allegheny by 39 strokes. Methodist freshman Chad Collins posted a four-day total of 283, five-under par, to win medalist honors.
