The NCAA News - News and FeaturesThe NCAA News -- April 12, 1999 Championships notice Division III women's basketball: The NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Committee is soliciting bids for the 2000 and 2001 Division III Women's Basketball Championship. The dates for the semifinals and finals during those years are March 17-18, 2000, and March 16-17, 2001. The 1999 championship at Western Connecticut State University was the first to be held at a predetermined site. Persons interested in submitting bids should contact Cindy Smith, assistant director of championships, at the NCAA national office (913/339-1906). Proposals are due by April 20. |
