Rinebold appointed as NCAA director of broadcast services

JoJo Rinebold has been hired as NCAA director of broadcast services.

Rinebold's prior experience includes having worked for more than seven years at ProServ Television Inc., where she served as an international sales administrator and eventually as the assistant vice-president for international sales.

Rinebold was responsible for selling international television rights for such sporting events as the U.S. Open Tennis Championships, the Boston Marathon, several ATP Tour events and many NCAA championships.

An Emory University graduate, Rinebold also has performed freelance projects that include having served as the international broadcast manager for the U.S. Open Tennis Championships and as the assistant venue control manager for the Goodwill Games.

She also is a former competitive field hockey player and figure skater.

In her capacity as director of broadcast services, Rinebold will oversee production of 30 NCAA championship events and selected other events, as well as the production of television public service announcements. In addition, Rinebold will serve as day-to-day liaison with ESPN and other national and regional sports networks to negotiate issues including, but not limited to scheduling, talent selection and advertising.

She also will coordinate the audio-visual component of the annual Women's Final Four Salute Dinner.
