Joyce master of ceremonies for NCAA honors dinner

Veteran CBS sports reporter Andrea Joyce will serve as master of ceremonies for the 1999 honors dinner January 10 at the NCAA Convention in San Antonio.

Joyce is a reporter for the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship, the U.S. Open Tennis Championships, CBS's coverage of college football and numerous sports specials. She also cohosted the network's weekend daytime coverage of the 1992, 1994 and 1998 Winter Olympic Games.

The University of Michigan graduate also has hosted CBS's sports anthology show entitled "At the Half"; its early-round coverage of the 1991 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship; "College Football Today"; the NCAA Women's Final Four and title-game broadcasts (1991-94); the Heisman Trophy Award show (1990); and NBA playoff games (1990).

Before joining CBS Sports, Joyce was a reporter for ESPN and covered such events as the Olympic Summer Games in Seoul, South Korea; the NFL draft; and the French Open Tennis Championships.
