Division I Women's Volleyball

Field: The bracket will feature 64 teams for the first time.

Dates and sites: First- and second-round matches will be played at on-campus sites December 3-6. Regionals will be conducted at on-campus sites December 10-13. The semifinals and final will be played at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, December 17 and 19.

Championship notes: Defending champion Stanford will vie to become the first school to capture three consecutive titles. Three other teams have managed back-to-back championships, including UCLA, Pacific (California) and Hawaii .... The Cardinal claimed four of the last six championships, more titles than any other institution .... Twelve of 17 championship crowns have been won by California-based teams. Others include Hawaii (3), Nebraska (1) and Texas (1).
