Division II Field Hockey

Field: A two-team tournament will decide the national champion. A team will be selected from North and South regions.

Dates and site: The championship game will be played November 8 on the campus of a participating institution.

Championship notes: Defending champion Bloomsburg and Lock Haven have met in seven of the nine title games and each has won four times .... Bloomsburg will have a chance this season to win its third straight title, a feat never before accomplished .... Pfeiffer won the first championship game in 1981 and is the only other school to win the crown. Kutztown is the only school other than Bloomsburg or Lock Haven to appear in the championship game since 1981.
