Manuals on the way to all three divisions

The 1998-99 NCAA Manuals have been mailed to member institutions. The new manuals, the second set produced since the Association restructured, are due to arrive at member institutions in early August, if not sooner.

The Division III Manual already has been delivered, while the Division I Manual was mailed the week of July 27. The Division II Manual is to be shipped the week of August 3.

Printing and shipping of this year's manuals were delayed in order to accommodate final legislative actions that took place during the Division I Board of Directors' April meeting. Because the Divisions II and III manuals have the same legislative citations as Division I, any Division I legislative changes approved by the Board in April could have affected the Divisions II and III manuals as well.

As a result, the three manuals were produced in a 90-day period as opposed to the traditional four-month schedule allowed in previous years.
