Another 10 summer basketball leagues approved by NCAA

The Association has certified another 10 summer basketball leagues for 1998 competition.

The leagues include seven for men and three for women.

Student-athletes from NCAA institutions participate each summer in hundreds of leagues certified in accordance with NCAA Bylaws 14.7.5.2 and 30.15.

A complete list of certified basketball events can be obtained from the NCAA Fax-on-Demand System by dialing 770/399-3060 (passcode 1925) and selecting request number 1120.

Previously certified leagues were published in the April 20 and 27; May 4 , 11 and 25; and June 1 issues of The NCAA News.

Questions about the application process for NCAA certification should be directed to Doug Archie, NCAA membership services representative, at the national office.
