Championships corner

National Collegiate men's gymnastics: The NCAA Men's Gymnastics Committee is soliciting proposed budgets from potential hosts for 2000 championships competition. The committee is seeking two regional sites (East and West regionals) and a site for national-championships competition. The East and West regionals are scheduled April 1, 2000. The National Collegiate Men's Gymnastics Championships are scheduled April 13-15, 2000. Representatives of institutions interested in serving as a championships host can contact R. Wayne Burrow (telephone 913/339-1867), NCAA assistant director of championships, at the national office. Bids for regional competition must be received no later than February 1, 1999. Bids for the finals must be received no later than June 1, 1998.
