Postgraduate scholarships memo sent to all divisions

A memorandum announcing the opportunity to nominate candidates for 1998 postgraduate scholarships in sports other than football and men's and women's basketball is being mailed to faculty athletics representatives at Divisions I, II and III institutions.

The memorandum from Julie Quickel, NCAA committee coordinator, will be mailed March 12.

Faculty athletics representatives are being urged to contact Quickel at the national office if they do not receive the memorandum and enclosed nomination folders by March 27.

Completed nomination forms must be received by postgraduate scholarship district selection committee chairs no later than April 27.

Final selections will be made during the July 7-10 meeting of the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship Committee.
