Hammer throw standard for III women revised

The Division III subcommittee of the NCAA Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee has revised the 1998 automatic qualifying standard for the women's hammer throw as listed in the 1998 NCAA Men's and Women's Track and Field/Cross Country Rules.

For the Division III women's hammer throw, the subcommittee voted to revise the automatic standard to 47.76.

The standard is listed as 47.75 in the rules book.
