Committee notices

Division III institutions are invited to submit nominations for the following committee vacancies. Written nominations to fill the vacancies and nominee information forms must be received by Julie Quickel, NCAA committee coordinator, at the national office by the close of business December 19, 1997 (fax 913/339-0035).

Self-nominations are encouraged, as well as nominations by peers. The nominee information form will be faxed to each nominee.

Men's Water Polo Committee: Due to an expansion of the committee to include representation from all divisions and Division I subdivisions, a new Division III position has been created. Appointee must be an athletics administrator who does not coach men's water polo.

Division III Women's Basketball Committee: Two vacancies, with terms beginning Septem-ber 1998. One appointee must be from the Northeast region and one must be from the Atlantic region. Neither appointee may be from the New Jersey Athletic Conference.
