Women's volleyball pairings error corrected in III championship

Incorrect information regarding pairings for regional competition in the Division III Women's Volleyball Championship is included in the 1998 NCAA Women's Volleyball Handbook, which recently was mailed to Division III institutions.

The last section of the paragraph on page 23 of the handbook, in the pairings section, should read as follows: "First-match competition will occur between the No. 3 and 6 seeds and the No. 4 and No. 5 seeds. The No. 1 and 2 seeds will play the winners of the No. 4 vs. No. 5 and No. 3 vs. No. 6 match-ups, respectively."

Division III schools qualifying for the championships will receive a written copy of this correction in late November.
