NACDA schedules annual workshop focusing on facilities

The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) will host its annual Facilities, Fund-Raising and Marketing Workshop December 14-16 at the Sheraton Hotel in New Orleans.

The 1997 workshop marks the 32nd time NACDA has presented this program for its membership, which has grown to more than 5,100 athletics administrators at more than 1,500 institutions.

Workshop attendees will be treated to 18 sessions on designing and renovating facilities and the fund-raising and marketing aspects of facilities.

Exhibitors will also be on hand to provide information and display wares during the workshop.

Registration for the workshop will be from 4 to 6 p.m. December 14 and 7:15 a.m. until the program begins at 8:15 a.m. December 15. The workshop also includes an evening reception on December 14 and a luncheon on December 15.
