Committee notices

Division II

Division II institutions are invited to submit nominations for the following committee vacancies. Both a written nomination form and a completed Nominee Information Form must be received at the national office by the close of business October 24, 1997 (fax number 913/339-0035).

To access the forms on the NCAA Fax-on-Demand System, callers can use the handset of a fax machine to dial 770/399-3060. The passcode for member institutions is 1915; the request number for these committee vacancies is 1868. The forms also can be obtained from Julie Quickel, NCAA committee coordinator.

The Division II Nominating Committee will review the nominations in early November and forward a recommendation for each committee appointment to the Division II Administrative Committee. Self-nominations are encouraged, as well as nominations by peers. Individuals who have submitted a Nominee Information Form within the past nine months do not need to submit another form.

Division II Committee on Infractions: The Nominating Committee is resoliciting nominations for one vacancy on the committee. Appointee will replace Jody Mooradian, formerly at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, no longer at a Division II institution. The Nominating Committee is hoping to increase the pool of female candidates.

Committee on Women's Athletics: One Division II vacancy. Appointee will be a student-athlete.
