Division II

Division II Management Council: Division II institutions are invited to submit nominations for an at-large vacancy on the Management Council. The appointee may be from any Division II institution, regardless of conference affiliation. At-large positions are designated in NCAA Bylaw 4.6.1 as positions to enhance efforts to achieve ethnic and gender diversity of representation on the Division II Management Council. The following individuals are eligible for appointment to the Management Council: conference commissioners, directors of athletics, senior woman administrators and faculty athletics representatives. A letter soliciting nominations for the at-large position and a nomination form are being mailed to chief executive officers, athletics directors, senior woman administrators and faculty athletics representatives at Division II institutions and Division II conference commissioners. The deadline for returning the nomination form to the NCAA national office is October 3, 1997.
