Committee notices

Division III institutions are being asked to submit nominations for the following sports committee vacancies. Written nominations to fill the vacancies must be received by Julie Quickel, committee coordinator, in the NCAA national office by the close of business August 8, 1997 (fax 913/339-0035). Self-nominations are encouraged, as well as nominations by peers. Nominees will receive an information form, which must be returned by August 22.

Division III Women's Softball Committee: Three vacancies; one each in the Atlantic, New England and West softball regions. Two of the appointees must be athletics administrators who do not coach softball.

Men's and Women's Skiing Committee: One Division III vacancy. There are no regional restrictions.
