Championships corner

Divisions I and II men's and women's indoor track: The NCAA Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee is soliciting bids to host 1998, 1999 and 2000 men's and women's indoor track championships in Divisions I and II. Competition preferably will be held during the second weekend of March (Friday and Saturday) in each of those years; the committee, however, will consider bids for competition during the first weekend of March. Potential host institutions have the option of bidding only for the Division I championships, only the Division II championships, or combined Divisions I and II championships. Interested institutions should contact Deborah R. Nelson or Carl E. Daniels, NCAA assistant directors of championships, by June 20, 1997, at the national office.
