The NCAA News - News and FeaturesFebruary 3, 1997 USOC seeks applicationsThe U.S. Olympic Committee's Education Committee is seeking candidates to represent the United States at International Olympic Academy sessions in June and July.Individuals ages 19 through 35 can apply to participate in the 37th International Session for Young Participants (General Session) July 7-22 in Olympia, Greece. Individuals 19 and over (including those working at educational institutions) can apply to participate in the 3rd Joint International Session for Educationists and Staff of Higher Institutes of Physical Education (Special Session) June 5-12, also in Olympia. All "Olympic family" members are invited to apply, especially applicants involved in existing USOC programs or member organizations. Application forms, due by 5 p.m. (Mountain time) February 15, can be obtained by calling 719/578-4892.
