Three more basketball events are certified
Three more basketball events -- one for men and two for women -- have been certified in accordance with legislation regulating Division I men's and women's basketball coaches' attendance year-round at camps and other activities.
In accordance with NCAA Bylaw 13.13.5, Division I basketball coaches may only attend institutional basketball camps as defined in Bylaw 13.13.1 and noninstitutional organized events -- such as camps, leagues, tournaments and festivals -- certified under Bylaw 30.16.
Other fall events certified by the Association were listed in the September 2, 23 and 30; October 7, 14 and 21; and November 18 issues of The NCAA News.
Further information about certification of basketball events can be obtained from David J. Thurkill at the NCAA national office.
